Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break.

It’s monday again! and what is the one reason to say “yay” to monday? CIB!!!!!!!!!!!!

tonight we will be doing an exercise in creating/establishing an anointed business model…if you ever plan to enter a workplace setting…this is a study for you!

CIB is also looking for leadership next year! Most of our leaders are seniors who are graduating–unfortunately all. We are really looking for people with a vision for being a Christian in business. Pray about it and see if God wants you to help CIB going. If you’re at all interested, please let us know!

Study Tonight: field trip!

it’s nice outside…so we will be traveling tonight!
the topic is “Creator God”….the objective is to discover more of this aspect of God’s character….
so for all the artists, songwriters, poets, and otherwise talented people out there, feel free to bring any project you currently are working on….as well as any art supplies, camera, etc…
why on earth are we doing ths?
because it’s an extremely relevant part of business!
you’ll find out more once you come

dinner will meet at 6 as usual in the lucky food court. at 6:30 we will meet OUTSIDE the entrance of the food court….

Things to Know

Attention CIB
1) If you’re on our email list, we will be subscribing you to our website updates, so you will get them immediately.  When you are subscribed, you will recieve an email to verify this…click the link to do so.  This helps us keep you informed easier.

2) We will now be putting the study notes online, including scripture and questions, hopefully a week in advance to the study.  This is located under the CIB Study tab–click on the topics for the week you wish to view.  As of now the Fish in the Market study is there, and the last main discussion on working for the lord will be coming shortly.  We will continue our discussion next week (eg Fish in the Market, Part 2).  It will also let you know what’s coming up.

We’re going to be talking about engaging the workplace and evangelism–now to some of you this word has just made you decide to run for cover. while it shouldn’t, it’s a word that scares a lot of people. this is usually because we never really talk about what evangelism is–so we’re going to talk about it. now for others of you, you’re overlly excited about this word–so i hope that means you’re overally excited about coming!

So come down to the Lucky Food Court at 6:30 to enjoy fellowship, food, and food-for-thought.

also….we have an amazing testimony about the business org fair! Due to the reconstruction of the UBLC, that oversees all business orgs, our registration for the fair was, as one would say, lost in the email. BUT…God is good and gracious. He answered our prayers, gave us a table, and not just any table…i overheard our table-co-mates discussing that it was the second best table in the atrium! (they were supposed to get the first, but ended up there…and as a result, so did we….and then had the wonderful opportunity to bless and recieve blessing from the people there)…..as a result, we have successfully established contacts/supports in the org….yay God!
